Freehouse in Dutch TV show: AVRO’s Kunstuur (28 January, Ned. 2 5.00 – 6.00 PM) Artist Jeanne van Heeswijk has been nominated for the Rotterdam Design Award 2011. Throughout the month of January AVRO’s Kunstuur will feature all nominees in their item Is this what they call design? on national television. On Saturday 28 January scouts Blom & Moors will introduce the design they nominated in Kunstuur and explain why they think Freehouse is such an important and interesting project.

Freehouse at OBJECT Rotterdam (9 till 13 February, Las Palmas) At the invitation of Stichting DOEN Freehouse will present itself during OBJECT Rotterdam, the fair for contemporary design. This fair will take place during Art Rotterdam in the adjacent Las Palmas buidling. Studio lvwp will design a conceptstore to highlight various projects supported by St. Doen.
