The duo Engelen & Engelen consists of artist Rolf Engelen and poet/ philosopher Maaike Engelen. Within their cooperation they are searching for a synthesis between poetry and visual art. Also for the sculpture 'Boombank' (Tree bench) as presented in the sculpture garden in Vlaardingen language and image are joined inextricably.
